Goth Chic!

This look is so glam! It can also fit in so well with the monochromatic theme if you don't want this trend to look so harsh. Try adding lace and leather to add an edge to this look. If you are thinking make-up a key is black eyeliner and dark lips to add a glam look. For this look we paired a H&M black dress, lace tights, a pair of black studded Jeffery Campbell's, a bowler hat and lots of jewellery. No matter what your style you can look chic in this look.

I love socks as a perfect accessory to any look. Wear socks with frills with brogues or heels to add a sweetness to any outfit. They are also bang on every tend for Spring! I especially love pastel socks to add a dainty feel to my look Wear to add a feminine and softness to a more edgy look.  Team socks with high waisted skinny jeans or a dress: no matter what your style is this is for you.

Baroque and Roll

Baroque! I absolutely love this trend; with the lavish patterns, rich fabrics and bold statement jewellery. For college we had a project to do a photoshoot based on this theme. We put the look together with a black and gold print dress from Topshop, black boots from Miss Selfridge and bold statement jewels from Primark. For make-up we used black eye-liner and a berry coloured lipstick for a classy look that is suited to the overall Baroque look. Our photoshoot was in the City Chambers in Glasgow because the overall surroundings was perfect and absolutely stunning, with marble floorings and rich colours everywhere.

My style tips for this trend are: Don't be afraid to wear bold lux patterns!
-Mix and max statement jewels.
-Wear berry red lipstick and bold eyeliner.
-Try rich fabrics like velvet.
-For a more daytime look either wear a simple black top with printed trousers or a pair of black trousers with a printed top.
                                                                 -Remember its all about embellishments!

White is the new Black! Its all about white. Whether its lace, broderie anglaise, chiffon, satin, organza, cotton, mesh and lattice. Anything and everything is white. I love this look, it looks so fresh and its a great look for Spring. Whether you wear it head to toe or just as a statement piece, you can't go wrong. I love how this look is so versatile and can be dressed up or kept casual. You can achieve this look at affordable costs and is absolutely stunning. I cant wait to invest in this trend.

Here are some pieces I feel are bang on trend:

Introduction

New year...finally got my blog! Thinking of a name for my blog is probably one of the hardest things. Well after lots of "I have the perfect name", I finally came up with 'Buon Natale'. You probably wonder where this came from. Well my name is Natalie and means Christmas and what better than that in Italian. I am so excited about this and can't wait to get blogging!
